Guidehouse is seeking a Senior Cloud Engineer to join our team in the Northern Virginia area. In this role you will be responsible for leading analysis, evaluation and integration of cloud-based systems. Providing guidance on the design and delivery of a network infrastructure optimized for performance and resilience.
Providing cloud engineering expertise to support the design, delivery, and integration of infrastructure, platform, applications, and process solutions with cloud environments.
Guiding and mentoring development teams to expand cloud competencies.
Establishing application, environment uptime and utilization scaling parameters and metrics for monitoring and enhancements.
Establishing standard policy and compliance metrics to monitor cloud environment operations.
Coordinating with cybersecurity team members to establish performance and cybersecurity continuous monitoring frameworks.
Providing guidance for the application of Zero Trust Architecture (ZTA) build and sustainment standards pertaining to cloud environments.
Leading the analysis and development of information papers for emerging cloud based technology.
Leading the establishment of risk identification and tracking processes for the hosting environment infrastructure and hosted applications.
Communicating with other program personnel and government overseers, and senior executives.

A CURRENT and ACTIVE TOP SECRET / SCI federal security clearance with COUNTERINTELLIGENCE (CI) Polygraph
SEVEN (7) or more years' experience dealing with cloud system requirements, system development and implementation, system testing, etc.
Experience with Federal Government, DoD, or Intelligence Community customers

A CURRENT and ACTIVE TOP SECRET (TS) / SCI federal security clearance with FULL SCOPE (FS) Polygraph
Bachelor's
Relevant certifications and training in cloud based technology and systems integration
