Job Description:
A company is looking for a Renewable Design Engineer
specializing in Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) and wind
renewable markets.
Key Responsibilities
Develop renewable project design/construction packages, including
layouts and electrical systems for utility-scale projects
Collaborate with clients and internal teams for successful project
execution and support early-stage project development
Contribute to the development of internal engineering standards and
optimize EPC designs from conceptual ideas
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET accredited
program
Engineer in Training (EIT) status or working towards EIT status
2-4 years of experience in power systems, with a focus on Renewable
BESS or Wind projects
Familiarity with CYMCAP, ETAP, or EasyPower preferred
Knowledge of BESS and/or Wind systems, NEC requirements, and
construction practices is strongly preferred
