Our light industrial facility in West Lampeter Township has 200 employees committed to living our values of Care, Challenge, Commit, Change, and Create.The Senior Project Engineer - Injection Molding manages activities as they relate to manufacturing, assembly and facility support system projects at the 4 plastic component plants. The responsibilities include but are not limited to process, equipment, design, modification and maintenance improvements throughout the facilities.Responsibilities

• Manage manufacturing and facility projects. This includes establishing deliverables, distribution of RFQ's, planning, selection of resources, budget constraints, and on time completion
• Lead internal and external technicians to improve the manufacturability of the plastic component processes and equipment
• Support maintenance and processing department personnel in the area of training and equipment engineering activities
• Analyze performance problems to find and implement root cause solutions
• Maintain documentation (files, revisions and edits). To include all drawings and database listings
• Communicate with site Engineering Managers on issues and suggestions as they relate to manufacturing and facility projects
• Lead efforts in continuous improvement to reduce set up time, reduce scrap, improve processing and overall increase in product yield
• Own the Project Management process including CERs, project timelines, Gate presentations, and Senior Leadership communication
• Set and approve procedures and policies that relate to all plastic manufacturing locations QualificationsEducation, Experience, Certifications:
  • BS in Engineering required
  • 3 years related experience
  • Project management, maintenance management and programming of computer operated equipment is a plusCompetencies, Skills, Knowledge:
    • Understand the fundamentals of injection molding machines and the injection molding process
    • Demonstrated experience in project management or at a minimum, project management certification.
    • Strong analytical skills. Demonstrate ability to use root cause analysis methodology
    • Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word, MS PowerPoint, MS Outlook
    • Proficiency in Autodesk AutoCAD and Inventor
    • Strong organizational skillsTravel, other requirements:
      • Travel Required as needed (50%)
      • Ability to rent vehicles for company travel.
