Mechanical Design Engineer

Job Description:

A company is looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer to support the design of new products in a fully remote role.

Key Responsibilities

Design two new products utilizing mechanical engineering principles
Utilize CAD software for parametric design, component and assembly design, and technical drawings
Conduct finite element analysis to evaluate stress, deformation, and thermal loads on designs

Required Qualifications

B.S. in Mechanical Engineering (Master's preferred)
8+ years of mechanical design experience
Proficiency in CAD, preferably SolidWorks
Experience with finite element analysis, preferably ANSYS
Knowledge of injection molding processes and simulation of plastics behavior is a plus
