The Project Liaison Engineer plays a critical role in facilitating
seamless communication between GEA, customers, and key suppliers.
This position is responsible for efficiently managing Requests for
Information (RFIs), ensuring timely responses, and maintaining
accurate records throughout project lifecycles.
This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career engineer to
gain hands-on experience with large-scale projects, collaborate
with cross-functional teams, and develop expertise in project
coordination within a global engineering environment.
Key Responsibilities
RFI (Request for Information) Management
Receive RFIs from customers and suppliers (via Autodesk Build or
email).
Assess incoming requests to determine uniqueness or
duplication.
Identify and assign the appropriate engineering team member for
response.
Log RFIs in the tracking register, forward them to the relevant
contact, and set follow-up reminders.
Provide responses through Autodesk Build or email, ensure proper
documentation, and close out completed requests.
Project Coordination & Communication
Serve as the primary point of contact for information requests from
GEA teams, customers, and suppliers.
Track and manage outgoing RFIs, ensuring timely follow-ups and
resolutions.
Maintain regular communication with customer representatives and
project stakeholders.
Support project engineers in preparing equipment
specifications.
Update and manage the equipment database and other project tracking
lists.
Design & HAZOP Review Action Management
Oversee design review actions, following up with responsible
parties to ensure timely resolution.
Escalate overdue design review actions to project managers,
engineers, or project directors as needed.
Manage HAZOP review actions, ensuring follow-ups and appropriate
escalations.
Documentation & Reporting
Collaborate with the document controller to track issued documents
and drawings, ensuring necessary feedback.
Attend project meetings to stay informed about progress,
challenges, and upcoming actions.
Compile and distribute bi-weekly reports on RFI statuses, design
reviews, and HAZOP actions.
Document and distribute meeting minutes, action items, and
follow-ups as required.
Your Profile / Qualifications
---
Required Qualifications & Skills
Bachelor's degree in chemical engineering, Mechanical Engineering,
or a related field.
2+ years of experience in project coordination, engineering
communication, or related responsibilities.
Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with the ability
to multitask effectively.
Ability to work independently while proactively seeking guidance
when needed.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for engaging with
customers, suppliers, and internal teams.
Proficiency in Autodesk Build, Microsoft Office (Excel, Word,
Outlook), and project management tools.
Willingness to travel up to 25% as required.

Summary Pay Range
$85,000 to $100,000
Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple
individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related
knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience.
