This position will focus on items such as overseeing the day-to-day activities of the payroll tax team, the accuracy of tax data and calculations, coordinating year-end processes, and auditing/reconciliation.Job DescriptionJob DescriptionCore Responsibilities

• Maintains an awareness of current practices and trends in payroll, and informs company about changes in all current payroll, tax regulations, laws, and policies.
• Manages the auditing of all taxation items on biweekly payrolls to ensure accuracy.
• Tests and implements systems updates and improvements for greater efficiencies in payroll processes.
• Acts as a liaison with service providers (ADP, Equifax) for tax filings and invoice reconciliations.
• Oversees the processing of service inquiries and special requests from employees and tax authorities.
• Reviews and approves the funding of payroll tax invoices.
• Works in conjunction with Payroll Operations and outside consultants on proper taxation of expatriates and foreign nationals.
• Coordinates the auditing and approval of all year-end documents.
• Looks for ways to automate and improve all payroll tax processes.
• Directs the work of a team of 4-5 Payroll Tax Analysts
• Represents the tax team and payroll organization by regularly collaborating with other impacted departments on any projects, issues, or initiatives. -
• Expand knowledge of global taxation for our international employee base.
• Experience with Workday and ADP Smart Compliance are a big plus. -
