We have a commitment to its employees by providing competitive rates and compensation, a comprehensive employee benefits programs, attractive working conditions, and the chance to build and explore a career opportunity by offering professional development. -Discover why Cooper University Health Care is the employer of choice in South Jersey. - - Short DescriptionTo provide financial, operational and strategic planning support to the Division Head in the - -corresponding division of the Department of Surgery -Assist Sr Practice Mgr. in day-to-day operations within the Division of General SurgeryParticipate in the recruitment/orientation/mentoring of administrative scheduling staffChampion the health system's processesEducate staff and reinforce best practicesTake lead of patient satisfaction initiatives and assist in incorporating best practices and procedures with staffOversee OR block utilization, access initiatives, and successfully support providers within divisionWork in tandem with physician leadership -Ensure adequate physician coverage and maintain AMION on call scheduleWork with Sr Practice Mgr to oversee faculty needs, licenses, certification etcSupport other departmental functions such as divisional meetings, dept meetings, OR meetingsExperience Required5 or more years in an academic practice setting with supervisory and responsibility.Surgical or procedural orientation is essential, medicine background preferred.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential.Must be thoroughly PC and Microsoft Office Professional proficient.Must demonstrate strong initiative and be able to work with minimal supervision.Education RequirementsBachelors required MBA preferred
