forward.Responsibilities:
- Provide oversight and assistance to Air Force Installations,
Major Commands, Air Staff, and private entities on matters
pertaining to, and in the implementation and long-term management
of MHPI projects to include construction/renovation progress,
financial, property, and maintenance management.
- Establish and support project and program goals and objectives,
solve problems, and implement policies, procedures, and
initiatives.
- Monitor performance of assigned projects relative to key
performance indicators.
- Work with assigned projects' stakeholders to identify present
and future requirements/problems, develop recommendations for
improvements, and coordinate efforts to implement agreed upon
strategies.
- Review assigned projects' transaction documents, plans, reports
and studies prepared by or for the Air Force, other agencies, or
private parties and provide feedback on their sufficiency and the
validity of the information, conclusions, or recommendations
presented.
- Provide accurate, comprehensive and authoritative guidance,
advice and assistance in the interpretation of MHPI projects'
transaction documents and Air Force policies and procedures and
provide direction and guidance regarding implementation.
- Understand the activities, priorities, and perceptions of
governmental bodies, businesses, and individuals at diverse federal
levels as well as private sector entities.
- Review projects' compliance with applicable transaction
documents and Air Force policies and procedures and ensure
coordination with installation and command, federal, and private
organizations.
- Manage the administrative staffing of approval/disapproval
packages, proposals, studies, and reports as needed from creation
to approval/signature by the appropriate level of the chain of
command.
- Train stakeholders on housing privatization matters including
policies and procedures, best practices, and portfolio management
oversight tools.
- Review, validate, and participate in the development of new
initiatives and ongoing programs that improve the management and
operations of privatized housing.
- Conduct site visits to assigned MHPI projects to review
administrative, management, design/construction, and operation of
the privatized housing project; ensure compliance by the AF and
private sector entities with negotiated project transactions; train
stakeholders; and disseminate best practices.
- Arrange, conduct, chair meetings, and provide relationship
management with project stakeholders, including Installation
Leadership, the Military Housing Office (MHO), Air Force Higher
Headquarters and staff agencies, as well as other federal and
military service officials, and private sector individuals.
- Prepare and deliver presentations such as briefings, training
sessions, consultations, and strategy sessions with installations,
MAJCOMs, Air Staff, other services, DOD, and private entities to
secure cooperation, resolve controversial matters, and convey
information relative to proposed changes in assigned
projects.Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in business, finance, public policy, real
estate or related field preferred.
- Minimum of 4 years work experience.
- Strong project management, strategic thinking, organization,
time management, client relationship and project management
skills.
- Self-motivation and the ability to show initiative in taking
action and responding appropriately.
- Excellent business/verbal communication and interpersonal
skills.
- Ability to communicate clearly, concisely and professionally in
written communication.
- Ability to meet deadlines, demonstrate flexibility and work in
fast-paced team environment.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and be a
team player.
- Willingness to travel.
- Advanced knowledge of the Microsoft Office software suite,
particularly Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
- Intellectual curiosity and willingness to learn.Estimated total
compensation for this position: 90,000.00 - 130,000.00 USD per
