Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Bakery Associate Team Leader to join our team at Whole Foods Market. As a key member of our store operations team, you will play a vital role in achieving sales, purchasing, and labor targets while maintaining the highest standards of retail execution.Key Responsibilities

• Operations Management: Develop and maintain creative store layouts and product merchandising, working closely with the Team Leader to achieve sales, purchasing, and labor targets.
• Team Development: Select, train, develop, mentor, motivate, and counsel Team Members to sustain a high-performance team and minimize turnover.
• Customer Service: Maintain awareness of customer flows and needs, directing Team Members as necessary to satisfy and delight customers, and responding promptly to customer needs and questions.
• Regulatory Compliance: Demonstrate advanced knowledge of regulatory and safety policies and procedures, ensuring adherence to all applicable health and safety regulations, including Food Safety.Requirements
  • Experience: 18+ months retail Team Member experience and 6+ months of supervisory experience.
  • Skills: High energy, enthusiasm, and displays an affinity for our products, core values, and company philosophy; growth mindset towards greater responsibility and ownership; excellent interpersonal, motivational, team building, and customer relationship skills.Working Conditions:
    • Physical Requirements: Must be able to lift 50 pounds; standing/walking 6-8 hours in an 8-hour work day; hand use: single grasping, fine manipulation, pushing and pulling.
