    • Job Requirements
    • Minimum of 2 years of experience in the Cath Lab
    • RN's: BLS, ACLS
    • CV Invasive Rad Techs: BLS & ACLS, & WV License/ARRT - will not accept RCIS (must have Rad Techs due to WV requirements with Xray Equipment
    • Familiarity with Acist injector & experience with IABP, IVUS preferred
    • COVID VACCINE REQUIRED: Fully vaccinated or valid medical/religious exemption
      • Schedule Information
      • Weekend Requirement - RN's: (Sat/Sun Weekends 0700-0700)
      • Weekend Requirement - Techs: (Same as RN's)
      • Call Requirement - RN's/response time: Monday - Friday 1530 - 0700 (average 15 days per month but will decrease with additional permanent staff)
      • Call requirement - Techs/response time: (Same as RN's)
      • Shifts: Monday - Friday 0700-1530
      • Floating possible to Non-Invasive CV to start IV's
      • Floor specific orientation: 2 Shifts with a preceptor, then usually do a 'buddy call' for Cath Lab
        • Unit Specific Information
        • Unit: Cath Lab & IR (cost Center 133)
        • # suites/labs: 7 Suites holding rooms & 2 cath labs (2 Bays & 5 Rooms) Holding 2 Cath Labs
        • # cases per day on average: some days as few as 2 up to 9 (average 4-5)
        • Cath lab/IR Techs: CV Rad Techs Scrub/Monitor
        • Common cases(IR &Cath lab): All Cardiac Adults (peripheral, cardiac cath PCI, devices, only adults)
        • Additional Questions: Are you familiar with Acist injectr (automatic - but not a deal breaker will teach it there) & must have experience with IABP, IVUS?
        • Monday - Friday 8hr days with occasional call. Call will increase once the Neuro Lab is up and running. Must have Neuro IR / IR experience.

          • Can only submit to 1 position at a time across the entire WVU system
          • Drivers license address must be outside 50 miles from the facility
          • Previous perm candidates must be gone for 2 years
          • Previous travelers there for 1 full year must be gone for 2 years
          • Travel teams must be submitted together in 1 email
          • We are only permitted to submit 2 candidates per opening, if the position is at max, we will hold on to the submission if a spot opens up
          • ICD, pacers, not EP no ablations
