NuWest Travel Nursing is seeking a Social Work Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker for a travel job in Baltimore, Maryland.Job Description & Requirements

• Employment Type: TravelMaryland Social Work License at the LCSW-C level Can consider active advance clinical license from out of state. Would be need to be equivlant to a Maryland LCSW-C. Prior to clearance, a complete application must be in process with the Maryland Board. Must have Masters in social work Skills MUST have hospital experience. Highly prefer exp in Oncology. Will consider Palliative/hospice care experience. **Please keep in mind-Oncology Social work is a specialized field, needinga specialized skill-set and most often the successful candidate has had one of the following (a seasoned healthcare SW background, experience working in an oncology setting, experience in a healthcare specialty practice setting MUST HAVE EPIC EXPERIENCE Experience working in the psychological, social, emotional, financial and practical care domains. Specifically: Biopsychosocial assessments, development of care plans and interventions based on the biopsychosocial assessment, care coordination and discharge planning, identification of regional/state/federal resources, working-knowledge of health insurance and financial implications of chronic illness, crisis counseling, suicide assessment, short-term counseling, family meetings, end of life and advance care planning, comfort working in an oncology setting with seriously ill patients and families, comfort with terminal illness and grief and lost. Ability to work in a fast paced academic health care setting. Ability to learn/use Telehealth systems and use of EPIC.
