Job Title: Registered Nurse Job Specialty: Pediatric Wound Care Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day 3x8-Hour (07:00 - 15:30) - Monday, Wednesday, Friday Guaranteed Hours: Not specified Experience: 2+ years of recent pediatric wound care experience License: Must have a valid state license prior to the start date Certifications: BLS Must-Have: COVID-19 vaccine and booster (no exemptions), current booster Job Description: - Provides acute management to patients with burn injuries.- Follows patients through healing, as well as long-term care with scar formation and treatment.- Evaluates trauma patients post-hospital discharge through clinic follow-up.- Works within a team staffed with nurse practitioners and has access to burn/trauma surgeons for backup.- Utilizes Cerner for charting and documentation.- Compliance with child-friendly scrub colors and no visible logos.- Adheres to non-smoking policy with zero tolerance.- Engages in pre-start modules, not billable, with a minimum of 20 hours to be completed prior to orientation.- Must be prepared to submit a recent photo according to the specified guidelines if offered and accepted.
