General Summary of Position
Unit HighlightsNurses on 4F care for an acutely ill patient
population with a variety of diagnoses. We commonly care for
patients with tracheotomies and many who require mechanical
ventilation. 4F is a great place to learn and develop your nursing
skills as well as prioritize and manage changing patient
conditions. 4F has a nursing team with a wide range of experience
and allows for collaboration and knowledge-sharing to promote a
high quality of care. We value teamwork and collaboration in our
delivery of safe and quality care. This 26-bed unit is a great
place to become an expert Med/Surg nurse and be exposed to a
variety of surgical nursing skills. The staff and nurses on 4F are
highly skilled, motivated, and committed to excellence.We strive to

Key Responsibilities
As a Clinical Nurse you will deliver proficient nursing care to
patients and families whose needs range from uncomplicated to
highly complex. You will identify current and potential complex
problems of specific patient populations and critically analyzes
trends and changes in patient status and plans appropriate
interventions directly or indirectly through other nurses.
