-Job Summary: -MedStar Health is currently seeking a PRN Clinical Dietitian II to join our team at MedStar Georgetown University Hospital Center. Apply today and learn how MedStar Health can be your next great career move! - -Primary Duties: -Conducts assessments for patients to establish diet and food guidelines. -Develop and implement an individualized plan for medical nutrition therapy in accordance with patients medical needs, goals and objectives. -Assigned Critical Care Units and General Medicine Floors. Must be flexible to cross-train to Neonatal ICU and Pediatric ICU. Work closely with Food Service team to assure conformance to diet prescriptions. - -Performs at least one annual formal professional presentation in the area of specialty to medical or allied health professionals. -Qualifications: -Master's degree M.S. degree in food and nutrition with approved training from the American Dietetic Association required. -5-7 years Progressive clinical nutrition experience required OR 3-4 years Clinical nutrition experience along with CDE - Certified Diabetes Educator Certification or CNSD - Certified Nutrition Support Dietitian/Clinician required. -Licensed in District of Columbia required or eligible to apply for DC licensure required.
