Job Description:

2 hospitals that are 10 miles apart are seeking a hematologist/oncologist for locum tenens coverage.Stroll along the famous Boardwalk with numerous amusements and eateries or visit the historic Absecon Lighthouse and the new Wheel at Steel Pier while on assignment in Atlantic City, New Jersey.The schedule for this position is one week per month, Monday through Sunday. This is an inpatient-only setting, with an average of 8 patients per day (5 consults and 3 follow-ups). The need for this role arises due to the high volume of patients and the illness of the current inpatient provider. The facility uses Cerner for its EMR system. Board certification in both Hematology and Medical Oncology is required, along with an active New Jersey medical license.
Dates Needed: 1/6/25 ongoing, for 6 months
Call Ratio/Schedule: Daily/nightly
