Come join us to be a valued member of the Inova Team!Responsibilities:- Obtains clinical history/informed consent from patients or patients' charts to assist the physician in optimizing the performance and interpretation of the examination, as evidenced by the exam results.- Coordinates new team member and student department orientation/training. Assists with patient and team member scheduling to enhance the productivity of the department.- Maintains an orderly, safe, and clean environment to ensure the safety of patients and staff.- Ensures rooms are stocked with appropriate supplies for procedures.Requirements:Certification -Basic Life Support Upon Start; Must be certified by at least one of the following: ARRT, RDMS, RVT, ARMRIT, CAMRT or NMTCB;as applicable with additional certification in an applicable imaging modality required Upon StartLicensure -Upon start, must be licensed as required by the state of employment if employed at an Inova Health System freestanding Imaging Center not affiliated with one of the Inova hospitals.Experience -Three years of Imaging experience in an applicable modality, Cat Scan or Mammography or MRI or Interventional Radiology or Nuclear Medicine in a hospital/healthcare environment, Recent hospital experience.Education - Graduate of an accredited school/program of radiography, Nuclear Medicine or MRI certification from ARMRIT or CAMRT, Graduate of an accredited school of radiography or Nuclear Medicine Technology.Inova Job ID #661653.
