  • Start Date: 3/10
  • 2 years of experience Required
  • First timers accepted: Yes (Must have CVICU Experience)
  • Ratio Req: 1:2
  • Weekend REQ: Every Third
  • On Call: 4 call shifts in 6 week schedule
  • Required to float within units of equivalent or lower level of acuity.
  • Skills Req: Surgical Intensive Care Unit, Interpretation and Management of dysrhythmias, Post Cardiac Surgery (Not directly from the OR), Assist with Chest Tube Insertion/Removal, Care of Ventilated Patients, pacer/temp pacer/ transvenous pacer, Clinician must be comfortable with POD 1 hearts, must be able to admit and take fresh hearts
  • Skills Preferred: lumbar drain
  • Total Staffed Beds/Rooms: 8
  • Scrub Color: Navy Blue
  • Charting: Cerner/med connect
  • Communication: SBAR / shift note
  • Medication System: Pyxis
  • This facility requires that all employees have the Flu vaccine
