Job Title: Registered Nurse Job Specialty: PCU Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:30) Guaranteed Hours: None specified Experience: Minimum years not specified License: Must have an active MD or Compact License at the time of submission Certifications: - CPI certification required (The Calm Every Storm online version is the only acceptable online vendor) - BLS/ACLS/PALS (AHA only) - NRP or AAP only Must-Have: - Two satisfactory professional references needed from most recent employers: 1 supervisor/manager and 1 charge RN - Candidates must be comfortable floating within their experience scope Job Description: - Night shift position in IMC/PCU, working from 7 PM to 7:30 AM every other weekend. - Travelers are required to complete labs within 72 hours of signing their contract. - RTO must be included at the time of initial submission; it cannot be changed once offered. - RTO should not exceed 7 days, and if more than 4 consecutive days, an additional week will be added to the contract. - Expected to float within the hospital as needed. - No exemptions for the flu vaccine requirement. - Orientation consists of 24 non-billable hours. Additional Notes: - Candidates must reside at least 50 miles away from the hospital. - Extensions are typically allowed after one contract, with a requirement for a six-month break before returning. - Auto offers must be accepted without an interview. - Candidates cannot request a block schedule or schedule restrictions; accommodations may be made but are not guaranteed.
