Department: Cardiovascular Unit Region: Maryland Job Overview: We
are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join the Cardiac
Progressive Care Unit (PCU) at St. Agnes Healthcare. The position
involves providing specialized care for patients with cardiac
conditions, including those with heart failure exacerbations,
arrhythmia, chest pain, hypo/hypertension, post-catheterization
patients, and those requiring temporary pacemakers. Key
Responsibilities: Provide direct care to cardiac patients,
including those with complex conditions such as CHF, arrhythmia,
and chest pain. Monitor and manage patients in a progressive care
setting, including telemetry and post-procedural care. Administer
medications, perform assessments, and provide education to patients
and families. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure
comprehensive patient care. Operate and monitor telemetry equipment
to track cardiac rhythms and vitals. Respond to patient needs and
concerns, providing emotional support and health education.
Document patient care and progress accurately in the Electronic
Medical Record (EMR) system (MEDITECH). 27217458EXPTEMP Job
Requirements Required: Current RN licensure in the state of
Maryland. Minimum of 1 year of experience in Cardiac Progressive
Care or similar ICU/PCU setting. BLS and ACLS certifications
required. Strong clinical assessment skills and knowledge of
