Clinical Tech Virtual Hiring EventMarch 27th From 11am-1pm CNA Certification Needed Zoom Interview Day For Clinical Techs -Thursday, March 27th from 11am-1pmJohns Hopkins Hospital (JHH)Units Available: Medical ICU, Acute Med Tele, Medical Prog Care, Cardiac ICU, OBGYN Oncology, etc The Clinical Tech performs routine and specialized tasks in providing direct patient care under the functional direction of a registered nurse. Responsibilities: --- Assist the patient with changing/dressing. --- Transports the patient by stretcher, bed, or wheelchair (this is a large part of the job) --- Identifies abnormal findings that could adversely affect surgical and patient outcomes, including abnormal vital signs, Accucheck results, lab, EKG, and CXR results --- Report all abnormal findings to the appropriate nursing staff. --- Escorts patients to holding rooms. --- Assists with patient changing, and removal of belongings such as jewelry, dentures, contact lenses, etc. --- Verifies patient information. --- Orients patients and families to the environment --- Obtains vital signs. Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Active Nursing Assistant Certification (CNA) in Maryland is required.
• 1 year of acute care (hospital) tech experience within the most recent 2 years is required (EMT or CRT experience may be considered)
