TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified PICU RN in Baltimore, Maryland, 21201 Pay Information $2,289 per week About The Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Job Specialty: Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) Job Duration: 12 months Shift: Night 3x12-hour (19:00 - 07:00); Day 3x12-hour (07:30 - 19:30) Guaranteed Hours: Not specified Experience: 2 or more years required License: Active MD or Compact License required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS (AHA only), NRP (NRP or AAP only) Must-Have: - CPI certificate (The Calm Every Storm online version is currently the only acceptable online vendor). - Two satisfactory professional references from most recent employers: one from a supervisor or manager and one from a charge RN. - Must be comfortable floating within their scope of experience without restrictions or special requests. Job Description: - Weekend and holiday work is required. - On-call is not required. - No requests for time off (RTO) are prioritized. RTO must be included at the time of initial submission and cannot be changed once offered or extended. - Comply with compliance document deadlines, which are 5 days prior to the start date. - Travelers must go in for their labs within 72 hours of signing their contract. - If approved, schedule restrictions will not be included in writing in the offer. - Ensure references are provided as required. - Modules are non-billable, considered during orientation. Orientation involves 24 non-billable hours. - Local candidates must be at least 50 miles away from the facility. - Travelers are the first to float within the hospital. - Return travelers are required to be away for at least 6 months from the system. - Former staff must have been away for 12 months before returning as a traveler. - Extensions are usually allowed once, with a possible one-time extension before taking a 6-month break.
