If you have experience in Surgical Nursing and you re ready to step into a leadership role overseeing a bright team of Surgical Department staff then this could be the perfect fit for you. The Operating Room Clinical Nurse Coordinator will be in charge of overseeing patient care of the Operating Room department during the shift and will work with Management on staffing, employee development, and practices to improve the unit. The Nurse Coordinator Operating Room should also feel comfortable stepping into a managerial role when the Nurse Manager Operating Room is not present on the unit. The Operating Room Clinical RN Coordinator will join a 300+ bed multi-hospital system, Magnet recognized facility. This organization is a teaching hospital, is dedicated to continuing education offering comprehensive CME programs, and is dedicated to quality, earning The Joint Commission gold seal of approval. The Operating Room Nurse Coordinator will circulate in the OR and will be a resource to OR RN s requiring assistance or clinical guidance. The Operating Room Nurse Coordinator will have prior operating room nursing experience. A CNOR Certification is preferred but not required.
