• Schedule: Full-Time; 8 hour shift between 7:00am-7:00pm Monday-Thursday, 7:00am-5.30pm Friday and one Saturday rotation a month, which you get one weekday off. No on-call

  • Operate equipment and performs various mammography related procedures.
  • Prepare and position patient and select anatomic and technical parameter accurately.
  • Explain procedures and educate patient about the role of regular mammography in preventive breast health.
  • Develop and evaluate the film for technical quality such as density contrast, definition, and distortion.
  • Follow radiation safety procedures and guidelines.
  • Ensure prompt submission of high-quality of all images and documents sent to PACS (image quality, correct lead markers and patient data/history).
  • Ensure equipment is properly functioning.
  • Report potential problems or equipment malfunction to appropriate personnel.
  • Assist in maintaining a clean, and orderly department to include procedure rooms, storage areas, dressing rooms, film storage area, and any other areas in department.Requirements Licensure / Certification / Registration:
    • BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
    • Radiologic Technologist specializing in Mammography credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. General Radiography is also required in addition to any specialty.Education:
