Job Description:

Safe Harbor Community Services (SHCS) is seeking a Maryland licensed therapist to provide school-based therapy (3-4 days per week) and in-clinic therapy (1 day per week). We provide integrated mental health treatment for children and adolescents within *Harford County* Public Schools helping students overcome behavioral, emotional, or social problems that interfere with success at school and at home.

*School-Based Therapy includes:*
* Individual and group therapy
* Family counseling
* Risk assessments, as needed
* Specialized training and support services for parents and teachers
* Collaboration with other community providers
* Linkage to additional community resources

*Skills & Abilities:*

- Communicate and collaborate with both clients/guardians, colleagues, and school contacts

- Ability to engage, build rapport and provide insight-oriented therapy

- Make independent decisions consistent with current policies, procedures, and ethical standards

- Develop and implement treatment plans and provide therapy services to clients relative to his/her age specific need in accordance with state and federal guidelines.

*Requirements:*
* License to provide therapy services in the state of Maryland.
* Prefer a minimum of 2 years' experience providing psychotherapy / mental health services.
* Ability to develop treatment plans, maintain required documentation and effectively manage a varied caseload.
* Ability to organize and prioritize duties and to work within a treatment team.
* Experience in mental health and co-occurring MH/SA disorders and treatment, a plus.
* Computer skills and knowledge of an electronic health record, a plus.
* Must be willing to provide one evening per week.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $65,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
