Join our growing team supporting the government agencies in its mission as an expert-level Software Engineer in Herndon, VA.ResponsibilitiesFunction as an Expert level Software Engineer with Java development, micro-services, and Angular experience. This program will deliver a new state-of-the-art portal that manages customer requirements in addition to maintaining the existing portal. This new portal will be written in Java using a micro-service architecture, role-based access control (RBAC), and an Angular front-end in a CI / CD / SecDevOps Agile environment. Serve as part of a software development team to deliver automated solutions for standard network services support of a large IT infrastructure project.QualificationsRequired Qualifications:

• Active TS/SCI with polygraph required to start
• Minimum of 11 years of relevant experience
• Must have 5-7 years programming experience in Java
• Experience with micro-services and Angular
• Software Integration, defect management, and remediation
• Software maintenance and enhancements to existing systems and platforms
• Must be a self-starter that can handle complex projects
• Ability to serve as part of a software development team to develop a new portal and assist in maintaining the existing portalDesired Qualifications
  • Experience operating in a CI / CD / SecDevOps Agile environment
  • Any experience with Ruby is a plus, but not required
  • Knowledge and experience with Infrastructure as Code (IoC)
  • Cloud design for software, implementation, and configuration
  • Security Development Operations (SecDevOps) understanding
  • Experience with test-driven development and automated testing frameworks
  • Any migration experience is a plus, as we are eventually transitioning from Ruby-on-Rails to Java. No Ruby experience required but helpful.
