  • Willingness to participate in further education opportunitiesYour primary responsibilities include:
    • Personal Care: Assisting with bathing, dressing, grooming, and other personal hygiene tasks.
    • Mobility Support: Helping clients with mobility, including transferring from bed to wheelchair, walking, and positioning.
    • Medication Assistance: Prompting prescribed medication administration and monitoring health conditions as directed.
    • Companionship: Providing emotional support, engaging in meaningful conversation, and participating in activities to enhance the client's quality of life.
    • Household Tasks: Assisting with light housekeeping, meal preparation, and laundry.
    • Documentation: Maintaining accurate records of care provided and reporting any changes in the client's condition to the healthcare team.Qualifications
      • Certificate III or IV in Aged Care, Community Care, or Disability Services
      • Current National Police Clearance
      • Current First Aid and CPR certificate or a willingness to obtain them
      • Current Working With Children Card or willingness to obtain
      • Current Manual Handling certificate or willingness to obtain
      • Current or willingness to obtain relevant immunisations for working in WA health
      • C-Class driver's licence, your own roadworthy, registered vehicle, and comprehensive car insurancePreferred SkillsHighly Desirable:
        • Nights or sleep shifts
        • Current or willing to obtain Assist with medication qualification
        • Local knowledge and a strong network in Perth especially Northern corridor within the community and/or hospitals
        • Understanding of the Government funding environment for aged care & NDIS and hospital discharge environment
        • Excellent written and verbal skills
        • Physical ability to perform the duties of the position, including lifting and transferring clientsOther:
