Job Title: Barback AssistantJob Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and hard-working individual to join our team as a Barback Assistant at National Mechanics, a popular bar and restaurant in Philadelphia. As a Barback Assistant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our bar and supporting our staff in providing top-notch service.Responsibilities:

• Assist bartenders with stocking and replenishing bar supplies (ice, glassware, garnishes, etc.)
• Ensure bar areas are clean and organized at all times
• Clear and clean tables in the bar area, maintaining cleanliness standards
• Help with inventory management, including restocking shelves and fridges
• Support the floor team during busy periods by running food and drinks
• Handle glassware washing and basic prep work as needed
• Follow all health and safety guidelinesRequirements:
  • Previous experience in a bar or restaurant setting is a plus but not required; we're willing to train
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks efficiently
  • Strong communication skills and a positive attitude
