We've got what you're looking for.Job Description:Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Principal Systems Engineer to join our team! The Systems Engineer will participate in the development of tactical hardware and communications solutions in the RF, EW, Wireless, Digital Signal Processing realm. We are looking for a leader who will participate in the strategy and growth of our programs by collaborating with our external and internal customers and effectively communicating with our team.Responsibilities include:

• Lead system designs, development, documentation, and testing of complex tactical hardware and software systems from concept development through fielding and sustainment.
• Overall responsibility for technical excellence and quality across all projects and provides technical leadership on several simultaneous efforts.
• Develops and translates stakeholder requirements into verifiable requirements for the technical execution team.
• Develops and assists with the adoption of appropriate standards, processes, procedures, and tools appropriate for the projects and technologies within the RSEG group.
• Conducts Analysis of Alternatives, Technology Assessments, Vulnerability Assessments, and various other technology studies as required.
• Collaborates and coordinates with external and internal customers and partners - builds collaborative relationships through effective communications and outreach.
• Ability to participate in solutioning for prototypes and efforts to develop concepts and mission requirements into viable system architectures for successful proposals and program execution.
• Assists with development of technical roadmaps and strategy.Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree is required.
  • 10+ years of experience.
  • Active Top Secret W/SCI eligibility.
  • Technical background in real-time software development and/or complex hardware development for software-based RF/Wireless/SIGINT/Communications/EW/Radar systems.
  • Background and working level knowledge of digital signal processing, waveform development, RF, data analytics, software defined radios and software development is a must.
  • Experience in developing customer-facing documentation of specifications, ICDs, design reviews, and test documentation. Develops a wide variety of contractual and internal documentation and reports.Desired Qualifications:
    • Experience with system design and system architecture.
    • Entrepreneurial mindset is a big plus - wants to be a part of improving and growing a business. Hands-on type of person very important. Assists with development of junior personnel through effective mentorship.
    • TS/SCI preferred.Minimum Clearance Required to Start:Top Secret SCI.This position is part of our Federal Solutions team.
