SUMMARY OF JOB:
Responsible for providing continuous, quality, cost effective nutritional care to patients, residents, homecare and hospice. - Provides nutrition education to inpatients, outpatients and the community. - Ensures resident and patient satisfaction, quality care, regulatory agency compliance, and good public relations are achieved through the safe and efficient use of resources. -CONNECTING TO MISSION: - All individuals, within the scope of their position are responsible to perform their job in light of the Mission & Values of the Health System. RECRUITMENT REQUIREMENTS:
BS in Nutrition/Dietetics or related -field. -Registered Dietitian or Registration eligible -Excellent verbal and written communication skills. -Able to work flexible hours and some weekends. -Possesses knowledge and understanding of the varying nutritional needs of each age -level -i.e. infant, adolescent, adult and the geriatric population; and all disease states.Acquires -licensure -and registration within one year of -hire -date.Possesses basic knowledge of Windows Applications, Microsoft Office Programs, and is able to learn new computer programs. -LICENSE AND REGULATORY REQUIREMENTS -

• Registered Dietitian ( Commission on Dietetic Registration). - Must achieve Registered Dietitian credential within (6) months of date of hire.
• State Licensure is required
