_*PA or NATIONALLY REGISTERED PARAMEDIC -OR- ADVANCED EMT CERTIFICATION IS REQUIRED BEFORE APPLICATION. (Reciprocity to PA certification is required by PA DOH.)*_HANOVER AREA FIRE & RESCUE is now accepting applications for Paramedics and AEMT's. Come join the team of the area's only fire-based EMS system that is responsible primarily for 911 emergency calls.All salary and benefits are governed by a Collective Bargaining Agreement and provide an annual base rate percentage increase each year.Progressive Medical Director and Education Program.*Full-Time Staff Receive:** Starting Base Rate: $53,820.00 Annually for Paramedics.* Starting Base Rate: $46,800 Annually for AEMT's.* Schedule: 24 on / 72 off (built-in overtime).* Initial Uniforms are Provided with an Annual $300 Allowance ($150 for Part-time).* 457 Retirement Plan with an Employer Percentage Match.* Insurance: Health/Dental/Eye* PTO & Sick Leave Accrual* In-house Con-Ed and annual National Registry Recertification Classes.* Holiday Pay at 1.5 times the hourly rate.* Overtime on a holiday paid at double time.*Part-time Paramedics start at $23.00 / hour. **Part-time AEMT's start at $20.00 / hour.*_Other requirements: PA Paramedic or AEMT with EVOC- ACLS-PALS-CPR-HAZMAT Awareness-NIMS-Valid Motor Vehicle Operator's License.__*HANOVER AREA FIRE & RESCUE COMMISSION is an equal-opportunity employer.
