Job Description:
A company is looking for an Underpayment Specialist responsible
for resolving underpayment issues on adjudicated insurance
claims.
Key Responsibilities:
Analyze claim variances using proprietary software
Generate and submit appeals to payers while following specific
guidelines
Conduct follow-up calls to payers and monitor accounts through
payment/resolution
Qualifications:
HS Diploma or GED
Strong technical skills, particularly in MS Windows-based
applications
Ability to work well both independently and in a team
environment
Bachelor's degree or 1-2 years of experience in hospital/physician
claims variance analysis preferred
