Volunteers interact with the children in our shelters by playing games, helping with homework, and otherwise engaging in healthy and fun activities that help the kids take their mind off their trauma. It also allows caregivers to relax, do chores, or attend support meetings on-site at the shelter. Bilingual volunteers (English/Spanish) are especially welcome to apply. Volunteers must complete 40 hours of training in person and submit background checks. One year commitment required.
