our industry.The GG SIGNAL SWE leads multi-faceted mission-critical
system development, deployment, and evolution. The successful
candidate will provide SIGINT Development (SIGDEV) analytic
support, analyze signals of interest, and design software modules
for advanced signal processing. This role requires expertise in
both coding and signal processing to optimize customer accesses and
develop innovative processing solutions. The following are the
primary functions of the position:Primary Functions
- SIGINT Development Support: Provide SIGINT Development (SIGDEV)
analytic support to optimize and develop assigned customer
accesses, ensuring effective signal processing and intelligence
gathering.
- Analyze Module/Model Output: Analyze module/model output from
signals of interest to facilitate the creation of follow-on
processing, enhancing the overall effectiveness of signal
interpretation.
- Software Design and Implementation: Design and implement
software modules in MATLAB or similar design suites to process
signals of interest, ensuring adherence to performance and accuracy
standards.
- Novel Processing Solutions: Develop novel approaches for
utilizing Commercial Off-The-Shelf (COTS) and Government
Off-The-Shelf (GOTS) systems to create processing solutions beyond
their intended use, optimizing resource utilization.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams,
including systems engineers and analysts, to gather requirements
and ensure the successful integration of software modules into
broader systems.
- Documentation: Maintain thorough documentation of design
processes, algorithms, and software implementations to facilitate
knowledge transfer and project continuity.Required
Qualifications
- TS/SCI with agency appropriate poly
- Ten (10) years experience with SIGINT Development analytic
support.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer
Engineering, or Computer Science from an accredited college or
university.
- In lieu of a degree, an additional four (4) years of experience
may be substituted.Desired Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience coding in C/C++ and Python.
- Experience with Software-Defined Radios (SDRs), specifically
REDHAWK/RFNext, GNU Radio, or similar platforms.
- Strong background in RF signals analysis and SIGnals
DEVelopment (SIGDEV).
- Familiarity with development suites such as MATLAB or X-Midas
for signal processing tasks.
- Ability to design, develop, and implement systems within a
Unix/Linux environment.
- Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes for containerization and
orchestration of applications.
- Strong understanding of DSP principles, with a background in
satellite communications system design and the implementation of
these concepts into software.
- Familiarity with time and/or frequency geolocation technologies
and their implementation in signal processing applications.
- Experience with C++/Python-based signal processing tools and
libraries.
- Knowledge of GPU/CUDA development for performance optimization
in signal processing applications.
- Experience with message queue implementation and communication
protocols for efficient data handling.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

annually.Pay Range: $84.16 - $139.68 per hour*Hourly pay rates
listed for this position serve as a general guideline and are not a
guarantee of compensation. Compensation will vary dependent upon
factors including but not limited to: Government contract rates;
education; relevant prior work experience, knowledge, skills, and
competencies; certifications, and geographic location. *Hourly pay
