#AlliedJob Details*Shift:* 4 x 10 Days, Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM - 4:30 PM*On Call/Weekend Requirements:* 10 call shifts per month, including 1 Friday per month, 6 Monday to Thursday calls per month, and 3 24-hour weekend call shifts per month. _No other weekend requirements._*Float Requirement:* None*Local Rate:* Within \*\*\* miles of facilityRequirements* Accepts EP Lab Tech with experience in scrubbing for cath lab cases, both diagnostic and interventional.* Basic Life Support (BLS)* Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)* American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS)* MD Board of Physicians certified* 2 years of experience in:* Diagnostic Cardiac Cath Lab* Interventional Cardiac Cath Lab* ASD Closures* Cardiac Implant Closure Device* Cardiac Stent Placement* Diagnostic Catheterizations (Adult)* IABP Placement/Removal* Left Heart Catheterization* Percutaneous Coronary Interventions (PCI)* Right Heart Catheterization* Temporary Pacemaker* Preferred experience in Electrophysiology (EP) Lab, interventional radiology, and special procedures, including:* Insertion and programming of AICDs* Pacemaker insertion* Cardiac ablation* Must have experience with:* Accurate monitoring* Equipment setup* Perform EKG lead placement* Prep access site* Recognition of life-threatening arrhythmias* Room circulator* Scrub - maintain sterile field* Vascular Closure Systems (Perclose, StarClose)* Preferred procedural skills:* Isolation Precautions* Use of Rapid Response team* 1 prior travel assignment requiredFacility Information* *Unit Ratio:* 5 Cases/Day* *Patient Population:* Adults, Geriatrics* *Scrubs:* Provided by unit, color: ceil blue*Note:* This facility requires that all employees have the Flu vaccine.Join us in Baltimore, MD, a vibrant city known for its rich history, diverse culture, and beautiful waterfront.
