General Summary of Position

Primary Duties:

• Acquires -ordered images including evaluating these images for technical quality. Sends images to -appropriate destinations -for interpretation. -
• Maintains orderliness and cleanliness of work areas. Reports any unsafe or potentially unsafe conditions. Maintains X-ray and other equipment in efficient operating order. -Performs preventative maintenance regularly.
• Obtains patient history, answers patient questions, and explains procedures. -Transports patients to radiographic room and prepares and -maintains -room.
• Performs radiographic examinations. -Prepares -written -documentation such -as evaluation results, individualized treatment plans, and progress reports. -
• Requests and will order -supplies. Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT) in the State of Maryland.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS).
  • Associate degree -preferred. - - This position has a hiring range of $29.15 - $46.99 -
