Scion Staffing has been engaged to conduct a search for an IT Support Specialist for a respected organization focused on fostering a community-driven mission. This position is located in Washington, D.C.POSITION OVERVIEW:Our client is seeking a skilled IT Support Specialist to provide technical support and guidance to staff. The role will be responsible for maintaining a crucial database system that supports workflow processes, ensuring smooth operations and timely resolution of technical issues. • Provide technical support and guidance to staff, ensuring the efficient functioning of the workflow management system.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues submitted through the electronic helpdesk.
• Train staff on system usage and departmental workflows.
• Manage and monitor the OnBase database system, ensuring proper functionality and smooth operations.
• Collaborate with teams to ensure the timely processing of workflows and continuous system improvements.QUALIFICATIONS:
• Ability to quickly learn and demonstrate a solid understanding of workflow and database systems (prior experience with OnBase is a plus).
• Strong customer service skills with a proven ability to assist and train individuals.
• Previous experience in technical support or service-oriented roles.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently.
• Familiarity with genealogical research is a plus!COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:This position offers a competitive annual salary range between $55,000 to $57,000, depending on experience.
