*Job Description:*
MedStar Health is seeking an experienced *MRI Technologist* to join our dynamic team at our outpatient center in Rockville, MD. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of *two years of experience* in MRI imaging and be skilled in performing high-quality diagnostic scans.

* *Shift Options:* Early morning and mid-shift schedules available.
* *Schedule:* 5x8's
* *AI functioning equipment*
* *Paid Time Off (PTO):* Begins accruing on *day one*, with increasing accrual rates based on tenure
* *19 days PTO to start* (5.846 hours per pay period). Increases at *2nd, 6th, and 8th anniversaries*.

*Key Responsibilities:*
* Operate MRI equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images.
* Prepare and position patients for MRI procedures, ensuring safety and comfort.
* Adhere to all MRI safety protocols and best practices.
* Evaluate images for quality and accuracy.
* Work closely with radiologists and healthcare professionals for accurate diagnoses.
* Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
* Ensure proper functioning and maintenance of MRI equipment.
* Provide exceptional patient care and address any concerns during procedures.

*Qualifications & Requirements:*
* *Minimum 2 years of experience* as an MRI Technologist.
* ARRT certification in MRI or equivalent credentials (MR ARDMS or ARRT - Magnetic Resonance ARRT).
* State of Maryland licensure.
* Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
* Strong knowledge of MRI safety and best practices.
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $33.00 - $52.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
