Business Analyst /Data Analyst - Hybrid Position Description CGI has an immediate need for a Business Analyst/ Data Analyst to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced team environment supporting one of the largest customer. This position can be performed in any city in the U.S. in Central or Eastern time zone where CGI has an office with preferred locations of Lafayette, LA, Reston, VA, Plano, TX and Columbia, SC. Your future duties and responsibilities Data Analysis: Gather requirements for defining business events, scope, schema, working with impacted stakeholders to refine, review and validate payloads. This is going to be one of the most important skill sets. Product Ownership: Collaborating with stakeholders to define product vision, roadmap, and features. Business Analysis: Understanding business requirements and translating them into actionable product specifications. Project Management: Coordinating with cross-functional teams to ensure project deliverables are met. Good communication skills Required qualifications to be successful in this role At least 8-10 years of work experience is needed. AWS experience is a must. Works well with an Agile Scrum team and requires little to no hand holding Has cross-functional skills who will step in to fill a gap when needed (i.e. help with business analysis, testing, etc.) Experienced with data warehouses, data marts, and data lakes Familiar with cloud concepts, particularly AWS Excellent PL/SQL skills (including complex SQL queries - Oracle analytic functions like RANK, LAG, LEAD, LISTAGG) System Analysis/Data Analysis with strong SQL skills and mortgage background. Education: Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems or related field CGI is required by law in some jurisdictions to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit-based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $59,00.00 - $130,600.00.
