Job Description:

**All candidates must be U.S. citizens and able to obtain and maintain an MBI Security Clearance**

Our client is looked for a skilled and dynamic Network Engineer to design new and/or upgrade solutions for their customer's technology needs.

? The Sr. Network Engineer will report to the Systems Engineering Manager.

? Serve as an expert and consultant for the client to advise on feasibility and methodology of integrating IT services and systems (Networking, Applications, Operating Systems, Storage) and other critical IT issues.

? Lead the development of client mission critical IT solutions that include the design, integration and 3rd Tier support of various hardware and software technologies in an enterprise environment of over 1000 users geographically dispersed among eight sites.

Required Qualifications and Education:

? 7+ years experience in IT support or design

? 3 to 5 years of networking experience required

? 3 years of network design experience required

? CCNA certification is required; CCDA or additional Cisco related certifications desirable

? Must be able to work independently to solve problems and design solutions.

? Possess working knowledge of Windows Active Directory environments.

? Systems integration experience with Windows Server 2003/2008.

? BS degree in computer science or a related field (or equivalent applicable work experience) is required

? Working knowledge of Ciscoworks LMS and Ciscoworks ACS Server.

Preferred Skills:

? Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills, especially with Windows Server, MS Exchange, and desktop solutions.

? Working knowledge of Solarwinds Network Performance Monitor and Network Traffic Analyzer tools.

? Working knowledge of ForeScout CounterACT

? Fundamental knowledge of storage networking

? Familiarity with MS Project and/or other project planning tools.

? Experience deploying IPv6

Preferred Additional Skills:

Professional level vendor certifications such as Security+, CCNA, CCNP, CCSP, and JNCIA are highly desired.
