and importance of others.Job Description:The ideal candidate will
be expected to perform the following responsibilities:
- Capture processes using BPMN, identify areas for improvement,
and understand complex business and IT solutions.
- Coordinate with stakeholder teams across business and technical
units to develop documentation and produce artifacts consumable by
various audiences.
- Utilize enterprise architecture tools and processes to achieve
the deliverables identified for each project.
- Facilitate requirements sessions with various business units
such as Human Resources, Finance, and IT.
- Perform operational support for Enterprise Architecture and
participate in creating deliverables for complex delivery solutions
for medium to large projects.
- Leverage data to tell a meaningful story.The candidate performs
the following specific assignments:
- Analyze across multiple data domains, define strategies to
reduce data redundancy, improve data availability and
accessibility, and deliver a maintainable and reusable data
architecture.
- Analyze data attributes from multiple systems and develop
Common Information Models.
- Design and develop Databases, Data Warehouse, and
Multidimensional Databases/Data Stores.
- Maintain data models and develop strategies for data
acquisition, archival, recovery, and implementation of
Database/Data Stores.Experience Required:
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in Computer
Science, Computer Engineering, Management Information Systems, or
equivalent with exposure to IT topics.
- At least two (2) years of post-college full-time experience
developing enterprise architectures.
- At least one (1) year of experience modeling using Business
Process Modeling Notation.
- Experience researching technical and financial matters and
accurately summarizing findings with a recommendation for
action.
- Competency in modern software development methodologies and
technical architectures.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Understanding of IT IL, working knowledge of SQL, and how to
build queries independently.
- Knowledge of Agile/Scrum and project management
methodologies.
- Knowledge of databases/data stores, and how to access
data.
- Advanced Excel and analytical skills.
- Motivated to independently achieve results.Experience Desired:
- Department of Treasury or other Federal Agencies experience is
a plus.
- Three (3) years' experience with Archi, SparxEA, or business
process modeling tools like Camunda is desired.
- Three years' experience with ToGAF framework and ArchiMate
modeling language.
- Program Management Professional (PMP) accredited by
PMBOK/PMI.
- Local to DC is a plus.Special Skills/Knowledge/Training
Required/Desired:
- An Enterprise Architecture certification, such as Federal
