Job Description Business Analyst Job DescriptionBAE is seeking
an experienced Business Analyst to support our Government Partner
with optimizing IT operations and driving strategic initiatives.
This role will provide critical support to an IT Division serving
450 sites across CONUS and the Technical Director's Office,
ensuring seamless technology integration and operational
excellence.In this role you will: Support Projects and
Initiatives:
- Assist in the planning, coordination, and execution of IT
projects across the agency's 450 geographically dispersed
sites.
- Work with project teams to ensure milestones are met and
deliverables align with business needs.Track project progress,
risks, and issues, providing timely updates to stakeholders.Support
the Technical Director's Office:
- Collaborate with the Technical Director's Office to understand
strategic priorities and translate them into actionable project
plans.Analyze technical and operational challenges, presenting
recommendations for technology enhancements or process
improvements.Requirements Gathering & Stakeholder Engagement:
- Gather business requirements from stakeholders across multiple
sites and departments.Develop clear and detailed business and
functional requirements documents to guide IT solutions.Process
Optimization & Efficiency:
- Analyze existing IT processes to identify inefficiencies and
propose streamlined workflows.Facilitate the implementation of new
tools and systems that enhance productivity and support the
organization's goals.Data Analysis & Reporting:
- Extract, analyze, and interpret data to provide insights for IT
management and the Technical Director's Office.Develop reports to
communicate performance metrics, system utilization, and other key
indicators to stakeholders.Documentation & Training:
- Create and maintain thorough documentation, including process
maps, user guides, and technical specifications.Provide training
and guidance to staff on new systems, ensuring effective adoption

to data analysis.Required Education, Experience, & Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, or a
related field.
- 3-5 years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in a
multi-site organization.
- Demonstrated experience in project management methodologies
(e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
- Experience using JIRA for project tracking and management.
- Strong proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Suite of tools including Excel
(lookups, fuzzy lookup, pivots)Excellent communication and
interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively at
all levels of the organization.Strong documentation skills,
including the ability to create user guides, process flows, and
business requirement documents.Preferred Education, Experience, &
Skills
Experience in government or large
enterprise environments.Familiarity with ITIL frameworks and IT
service management best practices.Proficiency with business
intelligence tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar.Pay
InformationFull-Time Salary Range: $78760 - $133870Please note:
This range is based on our market pay structures. However,
individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors
including, but not limited to: business considerations, local
market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate
qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience. Employee
