Senior Systems Developer/Analyst - Secret Clearance RequiredLocationHerndon, VAJob DescriptionLeffler Consulting is seeking a Senior Systems Developer/Analyst to join our team in Herndon, VA. The successful candidate will support the Government customer by resolving complex technical issues and building new requested features. Work will be performed on-site and requires an active Secret security clearance.Duties

• Develop and update custom software code for financial systems
• Analyze problem reports and prepare accurate schedule estimates to develop solutions
• Document software code sufficiently and accurately
• Provide support to business analysts and testers in identifying anomalies
• Reliably and accurately report progress within the software development support tools
• Provide program documentation input for design and solution elements
• Assist junior developers and manage development tasks as needed
• Perform other duties as assigned to support corporate initiativesRequired Experience
  • 5+ years of C++ development experience
  • 2+ years of webMethods development experience
  • 4+ years of experience in Java programming
  • 3+ years of experience writing complex SQL queries
  • Experience working in an Oracle RDBMS environment
  • Must communicate well with other team members and balance shifting priorities to meet deadlines; self-sufficient/self-starterDesired Qualifications
    • Experience supporting Momentum Financial Management software
    • Experience working with Momentum 8.x architecture (OpenShift Container Platform, JBoss, ActiveMQ)
    • Familiar with BIRT Report Designer
    • Experience working in a Linux development environment
    • Fundamental understanding of federal financials
    • Knowledge of the SAP Business Objects Tool Suite
