The Solution Architect - Modern Workplace is responsible for
cutting through the noise and clarifying how our customers can
transform their business for the hybrid-cloud era with Microsoft &
Cisco's collaboration suites, and our unique set of services and
assessments. Working alongside a team of sales professionals for
Microsoft and Cisco, you play a vital role in creating solutions to
make our customers more agile and productive. As one of North
America's top solutions providers, you will ensure our customers
get the unique, business-driven value our brand has come to
represent.
As our Solution Architect - End User Productivity, you'll be
responsible for:
- Providing deep technical insights: You act as a bridge between
our salespeople and the customer to bring up-to-date insights on
Microsoft & Cisco technologies, industry trends, and the
competition. You bring concrete insights to our customers' business
challenges. You will also be presenting and hosting workshops with
business leaders from the C-Level down to drive sales and practice
the art of the possible.
- Challenging customers: Use your skills, insight, and experience
to tell your clients what they need to do, not just what they want.
You must be able to challenge their beliefs with well-researched,
tailored insights, bringing in creative and business-savvy
solutions that drive the sale and maximize outcomes.
- Scoping work and proposals: You use exceptional written and
verbal communication skills to scope, assemble, and propose
solutions. A hands-on role, you must be able to act under pressure
and show wisdom and leadership, often for an audience of top-tier
executives. This includes the creation of Statements of Work with
work scope and deliverables, project costing, and other related
activities.
As our ideal candidate, you'll have:
- 7+ years relevant industry experience; 4+ years in a pre-sales
capacity
- A mastery of at least one of the following, with the desire to
enhance your skills in the others:
- Microsoft 365 (Office 365, Windows 10, EM+S)
- Microsoft Teams Voice
- Cisco WebEx and WebEx Teams
- Cisco Call Manager and Contact Center
- An insatiable curiosity to learn more about new technologies
and how they impact our customers' businesses
- Exceptional communication and personal skills, both written,
verbal, and while presenting to groups, including C-level
executives
- Solid understanding of the commercial IT market for hardware
and software relevant to end user productivity
- Strong analytical skills are required
- Self-management skills and strong leadership skills
