25%Clearance Required:Active SecretWhat You Will Do:In this role,
you will serve in a leadership capacity within the Defense &
Security (D&S) Segment's Technology Consulting (TC) account
team focused on the development and capture of a robust pipeline of
technology opportunities to support account growth goals, as well
as oversight of multiple engagements within the account portfolio.
This role will have a primary focus on DoD accounts, specifically
Army, and will feature a heavy business development focus, as well
client facing delivery leadership and personnel development.The
Associate Director will primarily work with the account team and
leadership to identify relevant opportunities for inclusion in the
pipeline, as well as assist in developing related capture
strategies and approaches. The role will also include development
and execution of call plans with buyers and industry partners to
form relationships to support account growth goals and support the
technology and management consulting needs of the customer.More
specifically you will:
- Manage multiple complex engagements within prescribed budgets,
schedules, operational policies, and quality expectations.
- Build client knowledge and relationships; bring new ideas and
design/deliver high-value, high-quality solutions to client
challenges and needs.
- Bring in the right people, skills, technologies, and/ or
strategic external partnerships to address client needs.
- Establish and develop your team through effective staffing,
communication, value modeling, expectations management, performance
management, succession planning, continuous improvement, and risk
management.
- Manage financial goals, costs, and risks with earnest
stewardship for corporate and client best interests; participate in
pricing, budgeting, invoicing, and financial monitoring.
- Contribute to DoD, Army and Technology growth by participating
in capture activities, solutioning, proposal development, proposal
reviews, and program kickoff activities.
- Identify and follow through on opportunities for growth; bring
full firm capabilities to clients; contributes to research and
solutioning for new offerings, services, and clients; support
business development through client meetings, proposals, white
papers, data calls, etc.
- Anticipate market trends and regulatory changes and propose
solutions to demonstrate thought leadership and meet emerging
needs.
- Handle administrative requirements effectively and advocate for
operations excellence.What You Will Need:
- An ACTIVE and MAINTAINED Secret Federal or DoD security
clearance; must UPGRADE and MAINTAIN a Top Secret Federal or DoD
security clearance
- Bachelor's degree
- Eight (8) or more years of project and portfolio management
experienceWhat Would Be Nice To Have:
- ACTIVE and CURRENT TOP SECRET federal security clearance
- PMP project management certification -
- Working relationships within Army IT
- Current Army systems experience
- Relevant Technology understanding, e.g., of Agile, Cloud,
Cybersecurity domains
- Proven experience fostering growth within DoD and Army and
selling technology and professional services across Defense and
National Security government clients
- Proven experience of selling and leading large professional
services and/or technology engagements
- Deep and broad working knowledge of Army infrastructure,
culture, programs, and systems
- Knowledge of and facility developing capture strategies for
deals on government wide acquisition contracts (GWACs) such as
OASIS, ALLIANT 2, CIOSP3, IT-70, and Army specific IDIQs /
BPAs
- Ability to analyze addressable market and buyer spend to inform
Army / DoD account growth and capture strategies
- Proven ability to run capture on large deals, including capture
manager roles
- Ability to develop briefing decks, thought pieces, and other
materials summarizing service offerings and value proposition
- Proven ability to achieve managed revenue goals in excess of
$3m annually, as well as associated margin, DSO and other financial
metrics
- Demonstrated ability to provide oversight of a portfolio of
technology engagements including quality management/review,
coaching & development, engagement economic management, etc.
- Demonstrated ability to manage engagement teams of varying
sizes, including teams in excess of 10 FTEs and remote teams
- Ability to assess, identify, hire, and retain current and
emerging technology talent, including knowledge, experience, and
certifications that are critical to technology portfolio growthThe
annual salary range for this position is $149,000.00-$248,000.00.
Compensation decisions depend on a wide range of factors, including
but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, security
clearances, licensure and certifications, and other business and
